Hotel Bjarg

Hotel Bjarg is small but beautiful little Hotel in the Eastern fjords of Iceland. The Hotel is built over running water which has tranquility affect on those who sleep here. There is a big wooden deck out of the banquet room turning towards the sea. In the summer it is warm and nice place to be. There is also a gas grill out there.

 Environment

Fáskrúðsfjörður is extremely beautiful, surrounded by big old mountains and the ocean. This is a perfect place to rest and built up your energy. The village atmosphere is peaceful and well suited for families. Marked pathways are in the neighborhood and a map is available.

 The Rooms

We have eight rooms. Sixteen to nineteen people can spend the night here. Exquisite ocean view can be experienced from the bedrooms. The bedrooms have been totally renewed. There are new American latex mattresses from King-Koil in every bed. There are new large down comforters in most of the beds.

Three rooms have double beds. Four of the beds include toilettes but the other four needs to share two bathrooms. For those who are allergic to latex or down, the hotel has other mattresses and covers.

 Entertainment

If you like outside activity you can hike in the mountains, rent a 4X4 bike from us or if the whether is right go sightseeing on our small boat or go fishing. Fishing can also be done from the harbor or rivers near by.

Inside we have a billiard table, ping pong table, fussball, sing star and X-box 360 games. Wireless Internet connection is available in bedrooms. 

 Rent the Hotel

You can rent the whole Hotel. It is perfect for marriages, family reunion or meetings. The ballroom can host 140 people. We have a projector, big screen and great sound system here at the Hotel. We can welcome 100 people for coffee and up to 60 people for dinner at our banquet room.
